The Lombard Townhouse - Dublin

Situated on the doorstep of Trinity College and a stone’s throw from Dublin’s financial centre, the IFSC, The Lombard is an oasis from the hustle and bustle of the city. Formally Mahaffys, The Lombard has been carefully renovated by The Smith Group and architects Space Projects, to reflect both the history of the fine lady that is Dublin city and her current status as one of the most fast paced cities in Europe.

The beautiful en suite rooms at the Lombard have a high-specification modern design. Each features orthopaedic beds, flat-screen TV and free toiletries.

The hotel also offers 2 and 3-course evening meals upon request.

With its fabulous terrazzo floor, dark wood furnishings and plush banquette seating, The Lombard is ideal for a quick lunch or a leisurely drink and a bite to eat after a busy day. With the addition of our 8 new guest bedrooms above our bar it is now also an ideal location to spend a night in Dublin’s city centre. In keeping with the tradition of Mahaffys, The Lombard and our staff continue to offer a warm welcome to all.

The hotel day starts from hour 15:00 and ends at 10:00.

Please note that parking is free on weekends and weeknights, and charges apply between 07:00 and 19:00.

We do not facilitate pay-on-arrival bookings. Early check-in and late check-out is not possible at this property. We can store luggage after 12.00 miday only.
